Sampled glitch - vocoders - silly - Michael Aranda - noise/IDM - The fifth song for James Cleveland - actual vocals holy crap

(Podcast intro, with date, in robot voice.)

“sampled glitch” is just that, sounds like something got stuck.
“vocoders” is Tom talking, then something that is also labeled ‘what i’ve been working on today’ and was posted to effyeahnerfighters ages ago with the title of Technicolor Penguin.
“silly” starts off happy and then switches to very dark tones.
The section after that I’m not sure whether it goes with Michael Aranda or silly, or if it’s a segue/transition, but it’s lovely.
“Michael Aranda” has a some layering and has an almost eerie vibe.

“noise/IDM”, organ chords with a metal type sound. More eerie, but with an underlying it’s OK feel.

“The fifth song for James Cleveland” - I do believe this is a stylophone, and even if it isn’t it has a neat flowing sound like one, with some higher parts and a very nice build.
“actual vocals holy crap” It’s a very sad song. When he released “About Our Universeon Ephemera: Demos…, I had to go back and listen to this because they are musically similar. It also sounds a bit like something that could have been on Trockstuff

(originally posted August 25th, 2010) So, I’m on last.fm at the moment looking at Tom’s tracks. While I see some obvious mislabels, I seem to be missing some that others have. Some could also be people ripping videos. Might be what a couple of these are. Also because Tom actually has a last.fm, some of these might be personal tracks that never were posted anywhere… Help me find them? Anyone have any info on these? 1. Opener 2. Long ago (demo) 3. The Sun Is A Mass Of Incandescent Gas (This song is actually a cover called Why Does The Sun Shine?, and he used to have it up on you tube - so this is most likely a you tube rip of it) 7. Internet love song (rough) [ I may have this, just not labeled as such-if it’s the version off the old website]8. eeeeeeee (Became 2.5(10), and alternately labeled Tosspot) 9. Technicolor Penguin(alternately labeled what i’ve been working on today, and posted in a podcast under “vocoders”) 10. Hey, I’m Matt and I’m new around these parts! I do audio posts on a rapidly increasing number of communities and hey, here’s one now!

This song isn’t technically called what I have it titled as, but when Tom used to send me his techno-ey recordings I would always nickname them. There’s another I’ve affectionately named Tosspot. I’m usually a stickler for correct tags but here I just decided it’s more awesome this way
