Tom Milsom: Indigo (The Organ in Oregon)
Published on Oct 3, 2012 by mickeleh
I’ve always wanted to see a version of Indigo with the words and colors of the chorus on screen. So I made one. This is a unique live performance featuring Tom Milsom on a grand old pipe organ. It happened at the Portland set of the Ordinary Tour at The Old Church.

Lyrics:
If I mattered to you
Then all I would see is indigo.
Nothing else I could do
Could ever make you more dear to me and so
Every green, every blue,
Every red, orange, and ultramarine
I’ve seen
Would go indigo for you.
Every time that I look
Deep inside me the colour’s all I see
And my mind is a book
Rainbow-painted, a story about me.
Photographs that I took
That were once black and white would now be free
To be
In shades of indigo for you.
Orange, yellow, green, and malachite,
Octarine, light plum, and eggshell white,
International Klein Blue, maroon,
Azure, magenta, midnight blue,
Harlequin, and heliotrope,
Tea, tan, turquoise, teal, and taupe,
Amaranth, and ivory,
Cosmic latté, tangerine.
If I mattered to you
Then all I would see is indigo.
Nothing else I could do
Could ever make you more dear to me and so
Every green, every blue,
Every pink, black, white, grey, yellow, mauve, and cerise,
Beige, and ultramarine
I’ve seen
Would go indigo for you.

Setting upTom Milsom, With Subplot!
Completely forgot about this, it’s Tom at the San Francisco stop of the Ordinary Tour. Enjoy~
An anon asked for lyrics for this:
this is a GUESS:
New song
Red and blue veins
are the only ones you know
don’t be sad
don’t be sa-a-a-a-ad
you fell on your face
and you don’t where to go
don’t be sad
don’t be sa-a-a-a-ad
You’re well on your way
to unlocking the infinite
neurons inside
and you’ll find
yeah, you’ll fi-i-i-i-ind
you’ll never be trained
to appreciate the endless repetiton of your mind
of your mi-i-i-i-ind
You fell on your face
and you don’t know where to go
you’ll be fine
you’ll be fi-i-i-i-i
ah-ah-ine
ah-ah-oh…ah-ah-ine
Tom and I after the show in Seattle last night! It was so great.
an ordinary tour highlight. but backwards.
Rivers and Roads (Cover) - Exceptionally Ordinary Tour: SAN FRANMost awkward filming angle ever. Thanks Laura.
But this was fun in San Francisco. One of the best songs by one of the best bands in Seattle.
Although to tell the truth I was a little bit annoyed when I first heard Jake and Raven do this song in Seattle. I was all - “THIS IS MINE AND ANDY’S SONG. Y U HAVE TO SING IT TOO?” That annoyance soon went away because Jake and Raven are awesome.
