Getting Around FuckYeahTomMilsom
Hello there,
I created this page to hopefully help some of the new people (and maybe even some of my long-time followers) get around a bit better.
First off lets go through what each part of a post does:
Purple Arrow: This is the type of post and also the “permalink” that will take you to the link for that post and that post only.
Green Arrow: This is the date it was posted, if you click on this link you will get a page with all the posts on that day.
Blue Arrow: A link to take you to a page that you can post the article to your blog with.
Orange Arrow: The amount of likes and reblogs the post has gotten.
Turquoise Bracket: The post’s body with the information about the post.
Periwinkle Arrow: These are the post’s tags, you can click on these to see other posts tagged with the same words.

We also have static pages for things like Song Lyrics and Chords, and a FAQ. They will be over to your right in the bar marked “Click to navigate”.
Tumblr has some idiosyncrasies that make a few things a little awkward.
One of them is a limit to how many pages will show up in a tag.
When I first labeled everything “pictures” there were over 50 pages, and tumblr would only let us see 20 of them!
So, I subcategorised them.
I’ve also subcategorised some of the music posts as well, as well as having the individual songs labled ( i.e. “Lines”). I also put them in categories.
I’ve done this for quite a few of the albums I have on here.
Videos are sorted by name - sometimes with the punctuation and sometimes not…try it both ways before giving up, or by event if live. I’m hoping to get them more subcategorised soon.
So far we have these.
If these methods still don’t get you what you are looking for, try typing your query into the Internal Search it’s far better that the standard tumblr search.
Or maybe the Tag List I created before, or the newly created Tag Cloud Page (with every tag on the blog).
And if that doesn’t work, I have an Ask page!
